The issues of safety and medical needs on the water are concerns we all share. I want to conduct a survey of medical events that have occurred on your boat, or any boat you’ were on’ve been on. My intention is to produce a statistical list we will return to you, with the hope of making all of us more aware of what we can expect to happen on our boats, based on our actual experiences over the years. Each of us will then be able to use this material to be better prepared for medical problems, leading to a safer, more secure, and happier experience. This is not an evaluation of your preparedness or medical knowledge, and there will be no identification of you as the member answering this questionnaire when responses and occurrences are reported.
